Privacy policy
Last updated: 7 November 2026
This policy explains what information Lintaro collects, why, and what we do with it. Lintaro is property and facility management software for owners of commercial buildings, run from Pune, India.
This website
The website at lintaro.in does not use cookies, advertising trackers or analytics. When you use the "Book a demo" form, nothing is sent to us by the website itself: your details open in WhatsApp, and you choose whether to send the message. Messages you send us on WhatsApp are handled under WhatsApp's own privacy policy, and we use them only to reply to you and arrange a demo.
The live demo runs on made-up data. Anything you change in it stays in your own browser and is not sent to us.
The Lintaro app
Building owners who use Lintaro (our customers) enter records about their building: units, tenants, leases, invoices, payments, tickets, visitors, staff, attendance and documents. For this information:
- The building owner decides what is entered and who can see it. We process it on their behalf to run the service.
- Each person who has a login (owner, supervisor, staff or tenant) sees only what their role allows. These rules are enforced by the database, not only by the screens.
- We collect the information needed for a login: a name, an email address or staff ID, and a password or PIN. Passwords and PINs are stored only in scrambled (hashed) form.
- Staff attendance and patrol scans can record the phone's location at that moment, to confirm the scan was made at the building. Location is not tracked at other times.
- Photos and documents uploaded to tickets or tenant folders are stored privately and shown only to people allowed to see that ticket or folder.
Where information is stored
Lintaro is hosted with established cloud providers (Supabase for the database and files, Cloudflare for the website and app). Information is sent over encrypted connections.
What we don't do
- We do not sell personal information or share it with advertisers.
- We do not use a building's records for any purpose other than running Lintaro for that building.
How long we keep information
Building records are kept for as long as the building owner uses Lintaro, or as required by law (for example, for tax records). Owners can download all their data at any time. When an owner stops using Lintaro, their data is deleted on request after they have had the chance to download it.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask to see, correct or delete personal information about you. If you are a tenant or staff member of a building that uses Lintaro, please contact the building owner first, as they control those records; we will help them respond. You can also contact us directly.
Contact
For any question about privacy, message us on WhatsApp from the contact section of this website.
